Bloodshed of Little Lyarians

Karachi, the major city of the country these days is widely known for terror attacks. One of the
recent attacks relates to Lyari. With eighteen lacks population this area is home to various ethnic
groups including Balochs, Gujratis, Memoms etc.Regardless of being an underdeveloped area with
political issues, unemployment, poverty etc, in the mega city, this area's youth has always been energetic
for sports. The area has always been well known for it's numerous talented footballers. That is the
reason for the area to be also called the "second Brazil". One of the most popular footballers like
Omar Baloch, Ali Nawaz, Ahmed Janawaz and Aziz Baloch relate to this area as well.

Every year, in the nights of the blessings' month "Ramadan", various junior teams from Liyari participate in football tournaments to uncover their talent as well as to show their sport spirit. This year, the participating teams played during the nights of Ramadan and finally the grand finale's night the twenty-eighth of Ramadan arrived when everyone in the area was excited to see the winners. The screams of the people to appreciate the players echoed all around. At one end the amusement of game excited everyone and at other end the upcoming Eid's delight and happiness had no limits.

At that point, no body had ever assumed about any tragedy at all. But unexpectedly, a blast vanished
everyone's smile, the happiness evolved into sorrows, the excitements changed into cries. Rather than players and football, human organs and blood spread in the football ground. Many got injured but many died as well. The little boys of 9-15 years old, died. The kids who might have not seen anything in their short life yet and might have not enjoyed any privileges yet. These young kids might have had long term dreams and aims for their futures. Their grieving mothers yet cry when they look at their kids'  Eid clothes which their kids could never wear, their pens by which they wrote their aims, their toys that they played with. Every mother's eyes with pouring down tears, express the story of their sons that how they went and never came back. If something came, was their sons' dead bodies!

These mothers question their government representatives about their sons' death. They ask that what was their sons' fault to be given such a punishment. Only that they either played football or watched others play. The same neighbourhood had several deaths on the same day. The whole area is still suffering due to the gifts of deaths in Eid.
The provincial assembly member Sania Naz from Pakistan People's Party who is specially representing Lyari, has
announced financial assistance of five lack rupees to the parents of the players who were killed and confirmed to help the injured as well. But yet no initiative has been taken. The expectations of the Lyarians were high while voting for the new representatives, hoping that they might get peace back in Lyari.
Probably, the government policies about social security are questioned for many such incidents that take place every day in the country. Conclusively, special notice should be taken to strengthen the law and order to ensure the social security of the citizens as soon as possible.
